Game Thread: VMI 11/7

According to this Jeff Goodman article, Crabtree is going to be out a couple games with a broken finger. Don't think this has been reported anywhere so far. Not a huge loss given our depth at the 2/3, but definitely something to keep an eye on for the rotation tonight.

Goodman’s injury report says Crabtree is out a couple of games with a broken finger.

Edit: Dang it! LOL

We should have a double digit lead at half time. I expect all players on the team to get into the game in the second half, which will make it hard to cover the spread.

Expected starting lineups for tonight? Anyone want to guess.

Crabtree injury I don't think it hurts anyone but Crabtree. Actually makes the rotation easier for Mooney.

Sounds like for Game #1 anything other than Nelson, Gus, TB, Grace, Quinn would be a surprise but I don't think this necesarly is the same list of the minutes played at the end of the game.

Sounds like Scrimmages we had Grace and Quinn together. But I would be interested to see how the minutes play out with those 2. Probably will be hard to tell cause if we can a lead in this one - might get more players off the bench. But with an expected tougher matchup with Northern Iowa and road game with Charleston after that - I wonder if Mooney tries to play regular guys a little longer to get them ready.

Roche's home game against VMI last season:
6 rebounds, 3-3 FTs, 2-2 twos, 5-13 threes in 37 minutes...
With no Crab, I wonder what the over/under is for his minutes tonight?

With hearing nothing during the scrimmages, I wonder if our biggest unknown for tonight?

No idea but you’re in early running for fan of the year. SectionD, you have a good excuse for not going tonight, but you have some ground to make up…
I'm all in tonight and section 9 row d will be loud - it's friday night that I will be in Boston and then flying to Charleston on Sunday night for Coll of Charleston game on Monday.

Roche over/under 18.5 minutes.

I will say Under. But I think its right at 17. If Mooney clears the bench early - he could get more.

hopefully someone notices here the score isn’t posted at robins so I don’t need to keep telling my 82 year old mom what the score is

Ugly 1st 4 minutes - seem to remember that from a few too many home games last year
