Looks like we moved up 2 spots from #63 to #61.
VCU's loss only dropped them 1 spot, from #43 to #44.

VCU might have only dropped 1 spot in the NET but that was an a** kicking that was handed to them on National TV and for a team that is devoid of much on their resume, they needed a good showing last night and they didn't get it.Looks like we moved up 2 spots from #63 to #61.

Home opponents being above 75 and Away opponents being above 135 means wins add to your resume.https://www.ncaa.com/rankings/basketball-men/d1/ncaa-mens-basketball-net-rankings
Here is updated NET. We jumped up 2. I believe that Dayton and the overall strength of conference and OOC, will pull along the regular season #2 team into the tournament.
We're 1-1 vs. the group from Dayton to URI . We've got 4 more games left against that group. Going 3-1 is going to be difficult (pending the Blake health status) but doable. The last of those 4 games is our regular season finale vs. DUQ. I believe STB has a chance to move into that group, they are playing better in Jan than in Nov and they are at VCU on Sat
Lot of hoops to play.

So said the prognosticator that is an alumnus of the other school, and that was before last night. Our resume looks better than VCU's right now.
There is no question about that. Outside of the home win against LSU, they have beaten NO ONE.Our resume looks better than VCU's right now.
But they didn't lose to Radford. There is no question about that. Outside of the home win against LSU, they have beaten NO ONE.
And we haven't gone to the tourney 9 of the last 10 years. We wont want it to be close between us for a bid because they are going to get the benefit of any doubt there! But they didn't lose to Radford.

That's pretty impressive, especially since we only had 3 road games OOC.Up to 56 after yesterday, right behind SLU and Duquesne. Only three teams ahead of us have more road wins than we do.
So if we had to split with the upcoming Dayton-VCU games which game do you want.
Naturally we would want both! But that was not the question. Why not both?
We're building a strong NIT resume, and that's terrific after the trash that Mooney put out on the floor the last two years. As for an at-large bid? Losing to Radford killed that, and Mooney has one more letdown game in him, and that is with winning 2 of three against Dayton/VCU. I just don't see any love.
Of course, we want both. That would be sweet and would probably but us in the Top 25.Why not both?
I think if you play enough games at one location it counts as your home stadium. So, Duquesne has no true home games this season? I did not know that until last night.
Fortunately, the NCAA is not giving them credit for neutral site games.
Our game at season end will be at the Paint Can (where the Penguins play).
Just imagine if we had to play all our "home" games at Randolph-Macon, the Siegel Center and the Coliseum.
Of course they are home games. Though, to be fair, they are splitting them pretty evenly between PPG, La Roche, and Robert Morris.I think if you play enough games at one location it counts as your home stadium.
We passed SLU and Duquesne, but URI leaped over those two and us with their blowout of the Dukes. Top 4 in the A10 in both NET and KenPom now:We moved up from #56 to #54 after yesterday's win. HUGE opportunity against #5 Dayton up next.
