There is no pressure of us considering the odds. This is working out in our favor...Shades of 2009......Go Spiders with a focus!!!
This season is so eerily similar to the 2008 season, I almost don't want to talk about it. Strong, underclassman quarterback, senior led, powerful offensive line, great tailback and receivers, and quiet confident players and coaches. Had to beat our rivals in the final game of the year just to get into the playoffs. Now, we're playing a MVC team in their almost unbeatable thunder dome, in the FCS semifinals. An over achieving double digit underdog. Am I the only one seeing all this? Maybe Coach Rocco should have movie night with the team featuring "Run to the Roar" (narrated by Eric Ward).

I agree Rick. I have some cherished memories from traveling to a loud MVC dome in 2008 where I could not hear a thing until "The Drive" made it so quiet I thought I was in a prayer meeting. Could not help but remember after #35 Gordon Collins made that one handed grab on a key third down at ISU that great 4th down play by another #35 Shaun White at UNI. I also remember a young local receiver, Donte Boston with key catches on The Drive just like our current local freshman Wilkins made last week on a key 3rd down. I sure hope we can finish the sequel to "Run to the Roar" with a happy ending in Frisco. Great time to be a Spider is in vogue again!
