Most thought we were clearly in last year. If you look at Bracket Matrix, 80 out of 97 had us in, including a few that had us as high as a 10. I think we were a lock being a 2nd A-10 team, only behind top 5 Dayton, but it is fine if others think we were not.

Most thought - including you, I might add - we needed to win our QF game, at a minimum. The receipts are here.
Advancing to the semifinals of the A10 is no given.

I believe ESPN's "bubble watch" still had us there, and the writer (not Loon) said he thought we needed to beat Dayton to be safe. Which is of course ridiculous - we'd have the A10 auto-bid if that happened.

I personally thought we were deserving of a bid last year, but yes, if we would have taken the classic Mooney A-10 swan dive in our first game, I think that would have bounced us out.

This is all speculation of course, last year, was a wash, no tournament. So, you can either look at it as we haven't been to the tourney in 9 years or 10 years. Whatever, the case, it has been a long effing time.

I look at it as 10 years, and 9 straight tourneys missed.
