Needed a big win for our NET. Glad we got one. Bucknell certainly lived up to their NET ranking today
Way to go Spider, dominating a team that they should. Loved:

That was a good old fashion ass kicking. Many players played well. Grant played terrific with a double double 22 on 10 for 12 shooting and 10 rebounds. Gilyard, outside of scoring was amazing 11 assist, zero turnovers and 5 steals . Burton, a quiet 15 on 7-11 shooting and 7 rebounds. Finally, I thought Grace played at a very high level.
Merry Christmas everyone, let’s get pumped for post Christmas.
Bucknell reminded me of Northern Iowa. Soft team that doesn’t rebound. Should have been and was a good matchup for us. Good win. Contributions were spread by multiple players .
he showed why you can't watch his first 3 shots and say "he doesn't have it" and sit him.

Glad everyone got to see the Nick Sherod warm-up routine at the end of the game. Was nice to see the walk-ons make the box score before the Christmas break. Hope the team enjoys their Christmas holiday where ever they may go and that they are able to stay healthy.
Next up the A10 schedule which could be tougher to complete logistically than competitively based on current trends.

Thanks to all for the well wishes. Glad that the team delivered and made my continued isolation in the basement bedroom (aka dungeon) more tolerable yesterday afternoon. Felt worst Tuesday night but at this point feels like a mild cold I am almost over. In attendance record: 7-1, not in attendance 2-3. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all.

Okay Hardt's "connections" got Bucknell on our schedule - ha - do we thank him? or would we have played them anyway? Not that their NET ranking will help us but where else do we get a 31 point win? That was such a beatdown that we looked like a total powerhouse!
Good win, now we need to rip through the A10 - which I think we can do. Davidson at the top may be a very very good thing for us, seems to be a team that we have figured out the last fiver years - though too busy to look up records to confirm.
Have to say 97 may very well have been right again about Nate Davis when I was hyping him a few years ago. Good success in the early years with pretty voice Paulsen's players, but been in a huge slide last few. I will give myself credit on Wes Miller though, he would have been a home run here and very motivated to build his resume for three years.

My opinion of Nate Davis at the time was that John Hardt hired him, so I didn't trust him. But yeah, he clearly wouldn't be a consideration now, given how Bucknell has spiraled under his tenure.
We played with them like a cat toys with a mouse yesterday and still beat them by 30.
