Or maybe 97 was right.
I think I am going to binge watch season 1 of Last Chance U basketball tonight instead of watching any college hoops.
That is an excellent call right there, I might have to join in.

Literally still don't know a friend, alumni or anyone who follows UR basketball closely who think Mooney is the answer to anything.
You mean wins over VMI, Siena, and Queens don’t move the needle???I know you shouldn't ask a question you can't answer, but what we're the A10's signature wins out of conference this season?
OMG - those were the three I was getting ready to type. Not kidding. You mean wins over VMI, Siena, and Queens don’t move the needle???
"signature wins" per team (defined as highest NET rated team that was defeated in the non-con):I know you shouldn't ask a question you can't answer, but what we're the A10's signature wins out of conference this season?
Bonnies last 11 points in regulation to force first OT. And they pulled it out. Great game!Bonnies and Loyola headed to double OT. According to the broadcast this is the 3rd double OT game in A10 tournament history
At least we aren't alone in our misery.
St Joe has a good team and outperformed our Spiders who did not perform quite as well. Period. This is not on the coach. A few years ago I was skeptical of our ability to turn things around. Mooney gets credit for moving our program upward once again. Sometimes this Board comes across as a group of grumpy old men. I love this team!Literally still don't know a friend, alumni or anyone who follows UR basketball closely who think Mooney is the answer to anything.
They are reading from the Mooney playback down the stretch. Not quite the A10 tourney but this post is for 23. San Diego State and UNLV headed to OT in the mountain west tournament
Champions of regular season are obviously the teams that win the most conference games. "Fraud" is a strong word to use to describe the teams with the most wins. The inherent weakness of the setup is that teams do not play every other team both home and away which results in an unequal schedule as far as the strength of the opposition. The conference tournament is designed to even that out.
You are crazy!I think this shows how bad the A10 actually was this year. The two co-champions were frauds. It has nothing to do with not playing yet, or the game time or whatever other excuse you want to make.
No, it shows that anything can happen in one game. You're not a fraud if you go 15-3 in an 18-game league schedule.I think this shows how bad the A10 actually was this year. Not piling onto the fraud comment, but we only played the other top 4 teams once...yes we went 2-1 but we got Dayton at home and LUC away during Xmas break....the conference schedule was very favorable to us....No, it shows that anything can happen in one game. The correct word would be balanced. There is no super dominant team in the league and basically everyone who follows the league was saying that there were 6-8 teams that could win the tournament. Taking it even further it has been like this for years with most seasons having different regular season and tournament champions.I think this shows how bad the A10 actually was this year.
We don’t control this…why are we finding something to always complain about. You are not a fraud if you won your league and went 15-3. We could have went 18-0 and some up here would find something to complain about. Not piling onto the fraud comment, but we only played the other top 4 teams once...yes we went 2-1 but we got Dayton at home and LUC away during Xmas break....the conference schedule was very favorable to us....
Maybe Vandy alsoCoach also on Louisville list
Cmon, spider dad! I said I'm not piling onto to the fraud thing...just pointing out its an unbalanced schedule that benefitted us...don't pile on me...seriously...I love your enthusiasm and passion..I'm heart broken we lost as I suspect ur....love your boy, his effort, and contributions...a10 MIP!!!!! Would love him to come back if that's in the cards...we r all hurting....none of expected this kind of season considering the preseason expectations, but we r all disappointed in how this game played out.....We don’t control this…why are we finding something to always complain about. I prob should have been clearer. Wasn’t really coming at you. Just think we have some on here that love finding anything to complain about. My apologies for not being clearer.Cmon, spider dad! I though we were referencing Indiana St coach.Who made that list? He’s not on Louisville’s list. They could have 20 guys say no & they still wouldn’t land on Mooney. & culturally he’s not a fit at all.

His philosophy of offensive rebounding and saving timeouts could be real selling points for a job at Louisville. We might have to up his salary to keep him.Who made that list?
