what will be higher next year, our # of wins or our rebounding margin deficit?
I'll take the under on both...

Matt is a horrible basketball player. Total waste of a scholarship. Sal isn’t much better. My impression is that Mooney rates Matt higher than Sal. I too would prefer Sal, but unless there is a grad transfer, I foresee Matt starting at the 5.
I don’t think that’s entirely accurate. He is a backup level 5. He can give 5-10 serviceable minutes and shoots well. But he’s definitely not an A10 level starter.Matt is a horrible basketball player. Total waste of a scholarship. Sal isn’t much better.
Matt being from Canada most likely is a better hockey player than basketball, but he is notMatt is a horrible basketball player. Total waste of a scholarship. Sal isn’t much better.
“I was a bit freakish on skates,” Grace said. “I kind of always knew in the back of my mind that I wanted to play basketball.”
Sal and Matt got almost equal time. neither has shown to be much of a rebounder or shot blocker. Sal's got better feet. but despite gains, he can't hold position defensively inside. we need him at the 5 but he's just not big enough so he has to play the 4. I think if he was 230 he'd play over Matt at the 5 but at the current rate it'll take until 2024 for him to hit 230.I don’t even know what to think about Sal because he gets almost no time.
Perfect time for him to enroll in my "fatten you up quick" nutrition plan.Sal and Matt got almost equal time. neither has shown to be much of a rebounder or shot blocker. With Sal, you can at least see the upside as to why he was recruited here and why BCS schools like Minnesota and Seton Hall offered him. He's has elite length, which could make him both a really difficult match-up. Unfortunately for Sal, it hasn't come all together yet, although he has improved.Matt is a horrible basketball player. Matt has zero developable D-1 skills. He is not athletically inclined, he doesn't play the game with any toughness/intensity, which if you are going to be a big unskilled and unathletic center, is really your only meal ticket to getting minutes in major D-1 basketball. Play with maximum intensity. So, while Matt has improved as well, he started with no developable D-1 skills, which is why Mooney had no business recruiting him in the first place.
He is welcome to come over and eat at my place. Weight packs on quickly herePerfect time for him to enroll in my "fatten you up quick" nutrition plan.

I told you guys that 3 years ago. Matt and Sal need Big Macs !!!Beer, burgers, chips with ice cream for desert?
“Old country gristle links”How about some of that old country sausage or whatever the hell they advertised nonstop during our Morehead game.
I bet VT4700 is elated, oh wait, he is a UVA fan.Called it, knew my Hokies would be getting this guy.
Even if both Gilyard and Cayo come back no legitimate chance to make March Madness. Need to get couple grad transfer bigs, highly unlikely if we go by past big incoming transfers.. Like Khawn most of the grads, big or small will take the getting into the dance route as opposed to more playing time.
Time to move on and if both of them really
wanted to go to the dance, they would move on too. Plenty of good coaches like say Mack would find both of them to be valuable in a non-starter role.
