Think about what you are expecting here. You said our top 3 are all conference material, but after that, JJ and Nate are just guys. So, you are saying they also need to be all conference guys and it spells trouble for us if they aren't? So, let me ask you. How many A-10 teams have 5 guys who will all end up on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd all A-10 team? I will give you a hint. Zero!

Considering I named 3 players who have considerable D1 experience with Mooney on the roster, 2 players going into 2nd year, and a transfer who only started 2 games at a middling Ivy League school, forgive me if I seem a bit concerned.

Also, aside from the top 3, are you counting on the other players to play mistake free basketball, and to step up when one or two of the top 3 has an off night? Even all conference players have off nights. I'm not seeing it with anyone outside of the top 3.

we fans don't know if this roster has any depth because there are so many on the roster that we haven't seen in action. I know there's not much new to talk about but we've rehashed that every day for like 6 months now. we'll see them soon.

I'm with 23 in thinking so much of this season depends on Nick. we have our big 3 and we'll figure out a rotation of solid role guys. I'm 99% sure of what to expect from Grant and Jacob. if Nick comes out the gate aggressive and confident, hitting shots and making moves ... I'll like our chances.

picking the next 2 best players it would clearly be Buck and Khwan.
5 really good basketball players ... but probably not the best team construction. as we saw last year.

I go back to the great Bulls teams. some people think they just won every game because of Jordan ... and to a lesser extent Pippen. but it was a perfectly constructed team. it wasn't 5 all stars.

Since we haven't seen them play I'm pretty sure that means there's little depth to expect.
