X Factors

Anachnid, the CM factor does worry me. Last season chemistry was good, but there were a lot of guys that kind of knew their role, not a ton of battles for PT. Noyes got the starting nod at forward, but that went south and it was clear Dji was the better option. So the roles and pecking order were set pretty early.
This year - without seeing how things are playing out in practice - it seems like a lot of potential for guys to be unhappy with their role, as well as difficulty determining who is the best option and what pieces fit the best.
For example, Beagle could have gone a ton of places - if Walz plays great and gets 30 minutes a game - and Mooney does not think Beagle fits at forward, that is one potential area. If Roche is 100% healthy, will Mooney play him ~20 minutes a game like he was in past when healthy - despite his defensive shortcomings ( I know sman, you think he is good defender )?
4700 seems to discount Soulis, but if healthy - he appears to me to be an impact player - who turned down offers from St. Johns and St. Mary's to play here.
I think having more talent is much better problem than not enough, but will have to see how long it takes CM to figure out the roster. I guess with the OOC so weak this year, again probably doesn't matter. We don't have the opportunity (like last year) to build a resume in the OOC - other than win every game , including Auburn.
