Hey there my friend! Since "No Way Fest" ended in 2011 I don't get back to this board too often, but I thought I'd pop in to share a greeting and sincere wishes of love, peace and happiness to you and yours in the New Year.

'Spinner- Who you got this November? I'm thinking you're a Rubio guy all the way. Total guesses on my part- You think Trump is clown-shoes, and while you appreciate Cruz' tactics and intellect you realize he's bat-$h*t crazy. I can see you in the Rubio camp- I will say, I matriculated at UF nearly the same time that guy was in attendance and 'know of him' since we were kind of classmates. I'd say he is what about what you'd expect having met the man before in a college setting.

Am I "Feeling the Bern" you're wondering.. Nah, I mean he's head and shoulders above HRC, but I've gotta stay true- I'm 100% for "Mimi" Soltysik in 2016!

well Commie, the dems are putting forth a communist/socialist/progressive, candidate, who will raise taxes, increase the size of a broke government even more, attempt to micro-manage our lives and solve every citizen's problems, all with OUR money. whichever candidate is running against that agenda will take my vote. they can be crazy or whatever but it beats those who wish to live in cuba for me.

I'm thinking you have some faith in Bernie maybe? See, here's how I know you're not talking about HRC- She's not anywhere near a Socialist, she's a Bourgeois millionaire like Barry... The 'Bern guy is a bit closer, but still at least fringe establishment.. I am really looking forward to the debate tonight just for fun.

When it comes to increasing taxes, there's really no way around it, and everyone knows if your going to spend that kind of scratch, the bill's going to come due- Lay the blame for the tab where you will, but crying over spilled milk never solved anything. Taxes must increase. They must, at this point it's got to happen- Sucks? Sure, but it's got to happen- Let's try to make the best of it.

You know, Webby, you and I aren't that different- In my house I make $X so I need to make sure expenditures (Y) don't exceed income (X).. So $X > $Y= balanced budget. I'm cool with that, and it's easy math- I just can't get past the current GOP candidate's prehistoric views on social issues, not to mention what sounds like a stated intention to grow a military budget even in our dire financial straits.. . I kind of dug the "Paul" guys because they seemed rational , but the rest of those characters?

What else is new- Family good? Getting out to any 'Spider games? Looking forward to the Walking Dead? Trips abroad on the horizon? Has VDOT finally finished construction of 95-S through Richmond?

hillary is everything you say BUT, she wants everyone else to live like we are in cuba, typical elitist thought. if we took a sensible view of our spending, any candidate pushing that, we could do a good job of getting our finances in order like you do, i do BUT, nobody wants to actually cut spending. why do i want to send even more of MY money to that cesspool? why would anyone. if democrats, there are more rich dems than republicans, really believe in that crap they are spewing, they can send as much money into DC as they wish, put their money where their mouth is, so to speak, they won't but that is what they and you, should do. you are not limited to what you owe, you can add as much as you want to send in and smile and think you are doing something wonderful. our country is doing the same thing greece did, just don't want to cut anything so the bill will come due at some point, maybe not in my lifetime but maybe in my kids and that is not what we should be doing to them or future generations. the only, ONLY, budget that has actually been cut where you could see it is the military and that is as it should be but all other departments continue to grow and they keep adding new programs and bureaucracies. even i can figure out that this will lead to a disaster because even with a tax increase, they cannot even come close to putting a dent in our current debt, approx $18 TRILLION, much less the unfunded financial liabilities, approx $75-$100 TRILLION. raising taxes, taking more of OUR money, is just a joke, it will not help and if they don't change the formula of just growing and adding to this bloated, wasteful, mis managed, government, nothing matters. all of you dems, socialists/progressives, really don't care, want government to be mom and dad and solve everyone's probs, not what it was intended to do and why we are in this mess. hillary can win, don't think bernie can no matter who the opponent is. not sure any candidate can really make any difference in our financial crisis because too many in DC don't want any change at all and will not vote to make the changes needed to get us on the right path. am more of a libertarian than anything else and just hate government continuing to creep and decide for me, that is not america but probably too late to turn back that clock. hope you don't like guns or 64oz sodas, they are coming for anything they don't like and feel that you should have. scary
