I just remember a conversation my buddy and I had when Mooney was hired. He said "I hate the Princeton offense, and now we will only be recruiting players that want to play in this system". Yeah, agreed, why else would you 7' center be playing on the outside? Where is the Peter Woolfolk hardass type when you need him? SISSY ASS FINESSE BASKETBALL.

I agree. That's why we get dominated in the paint, under the basket, and have been one of the worst offensive rebounding teams in the nation for years. The offense allows one shot and retreat. How can you win with that scheme? I said this years ago: Why would any aggressive big man want to play for UR since the offense is not designed for big man play in the paint? Also, it's not designed for offensive rebounds. This is why I can't get excited about the news of new recruits-who cares, because it will be the same offensive system. New ingredients do not make a great meal unless you have a great recipe.
