True Freshman

The freshman class is looking promising to this point based on early contributions. Two started on defense yesterday (Shrider and Rubin) and Brissett and Wilkins both contributed at WR. Numerous others have seen playing time this year. Injuries have played a role in
this but it should improve our depth and speed up their learning curve as the season progresses.

I have mixed emotions regarding the true freshmen playing- I love their contribution but hate to see our red shirt group get deminished.
One positive- if one gets hurt during his career, we may be able to use his red shirt year to extend his scholarship.
