Thanks for posting the side-by-side video highlights above. That definitely increases the odds that posters will take a personal look!
The first question I have about Jordan is whether he is likely to be competing for minutes at the 5 or the 4 or both. The answer could be both. My guess is that the coaches will take a look and make this decision in the fall.
The comparison to Kwesi (above) strongly suggests that Jordan will be playing only at the 5 for us, and I doubt that. If he were strictly a 5, and he is compared strictly to Kwesi, then so far I prefer Jordan's hands, ball-handling and jump shot to Kwesi's (a very low standard).
5 or 4?
First, if we look at Jordan strictly as a "5," I do not see him adding value unless we have injuries. However, last year we had no injury insurance and no depth (with Kwesi) so the "insurance" policy alone is nice to have. This season we should have a much lower need for depth at the 5, because we have a rotation that can include: Grant (starter), backed-up by Solly (1st back-up), backed-up by Paul. If Jordan can beat out a "new-and-improved" version of Paul, at the "5" (I think Paul will give him a good fight), or anybody loses time due to injuries, then Jordan could add value at the 5.
Second, another point of view is to look at Jordan as a back-up to the 4 position (power-forward) since that might allow us to not force Buck to play the 4 at all. Without Jordan, who would our back-up 4 be (assuming we don't use Buck or Nick in that role)? If Nathan might be seen as a back-up 4, then adding Jordan may take "developmental" minutes away from Nathan at the "4" (which is where I see Nathan eventually earning most of his minutes).
So, if Nathan plays this year, and Paul is "new and improved" as I expect, I see the net effect of adding Jordan as neutral or negative, by stealing developmental minutes from Nathan. If Nathan does not play (and red-shirts) or we have any lost-time injuries, then I see adding Jordan as a very likely positive, as bench strength at the "4," and insurance at the 5. Will he "move the needle" overall? Even a little movement may win us an extra game or two.
