The president of the Atlanta Braves, who was a Towson ball player, and donated money to the shcool for their baseball stadium couldn't believe it.

Coaches with 30 + years of soccer and baseball, each, given their walking papers. And the soccer coach, who had been there 30 years had his last name spelled wrong by the HR department.

Team meeting s with the president was call during classes. And the meeting only last 3 minutes telling them tough luck. Title 9 is the excuse.

You think we had it bad-our's was a walk in the park. Towson was colder than cold.

Thought I read that the school called the police in advance of the meetings with the team members.

guess this will drop them from c7 consideration. when you start paying cash to the athletes, your budget keeps getting tighter and tighter, at least for non-bcs schools.

Baseball is back- the governor wants to be President. God help us. But at least Towson was ale to keep a pretty baseball program alive.
