Spider Prologue - Maine

the great Villanova win put us right where many fans thought we should be after nine games, sitting on 4-1 in the CAA and owning our own destiny with three tough games left...congrats to the team and coaches...but still a lot to do...

clearly a long way from the defending 2012 champs of last season who were struggling at 3-6 after nine games...but we know what happened after that...

Maine, led by crafty head coach Cosgrove, is in a similar situation as last season's Spiders...they're trying to salvage something as defending champs...a win in front of the home fans over the high flying Spiders would be a dramatic start...

I don't expect a Spider slip up...while the Bears are trying to "salvage" something our guys are trying to "accomplish" something big, that they will remember forever...

spot on Mojo, this will be a tough game, the bears are pretty pedestrian this year so far but a win sat would be huge for them. was thinking of this game for us as i was viewing a very pedestrian florida team, in shambles, dismantling an on the roll georgia team favored by double digits, last sat. just hope we don't go up there with a very conservative game plan hoping they will not be ready to play, hope we go up there aggressive and ready to do whatever we have to for a W.
