Richmond vs URI in-game

Only suspense left in game, is whether we lose by double digits or single digits.

Josh Jones passes to TJ for a bucket. Nice to finally see a guard passing to a big.

Who in the hell do you guard haters think these guys can pass the ball to???? Our bigs SUCK!!!!!!!!!!

K,

I think any of our bigs can score, aside from Taylor, they just aren't given adequate opportunities.

Had an opportunity and didnt take advantage.... Make that two opportunities at the end

Another drive by Kendall, bailed out by refs. I hate seeing this strategy. We will never beat a quality team, having Kendall drive the ball to the basket all game long.

Good adjustment with K0 taking the ball up the court. We wasted about 15 seconds getting up the court when it got under 2 minutes when K0 was off ball.

Missing ANO. This game would have been much different if he was on the court. He brings interior defense, rebounding, and an additional offensive threat. Our team isn't deep, we basically only play 7 players. Losing our best defender really hurt us.

Time to take our rightful place at the bottom of the league. Days of Mills and Sloan just a different league.

Well, hard fought game.
Don't know about you guys, but the refs were too involved all day.
We certainly did everything to hand you the game by our
horrid free throw shooting.
Good luck the rest of the way.

Kendall is waiting too long to try to save us from our terrible juniors!!! He needs to get involved in the game sooner.

ANO and TA are really good players. I don't know what you have against them SpiderK. TA has been great on offense and has been pretty good on defense too. ANO is a huge force on defense for us, as we can see from what happened today when he wasn't on the court.

I didn't see but the last 5 mins of the game. Looking at the stats what stood out was Kendall taking 0 three point attempts. Is that right? Hard to believe. Hard to believe as a team we only made two the whole game. Seeing that stat with the massive rebounding disadvantage and poor free throw shooting, I'm surprised it was that close.

Taylor just awful stats. 0 points 0-4 from the line and fouled out. Also didn't realize Alonzo was out for most of the game. That's a huge dagger and maybe the difference in the game?

SpiderK, I'm as frustrated as the next guy but your posts are personal attacks and are really over the top, IMO.

You seem to be a decent person, but I would have banned you from the board for your activity on this thread if I were a moderator.

I actually feel badly for Deion Taylor. I am sure that he tries hard. Since he probably has to see some minutes because of our lack of quality depth, I hope he will be able to contribute in the future. The problem as I see it is that he plays far too many minutes. I believe we would be better served if he was used strictly to give the various starters a bit of a rest or to play a little defense in certain situations. Unfortunately, I don't see that happening since it hasn't happened up to this point, and Deion's play is not getting any better. Anyone on this board have any information as to why DT gets 20 minutes per game. What am I missing? And please don't use the word "intangibles." Quite frankly, I would like to see some tangibles at this point.

Nothing personal against Deion, but that was probably one of the worst individual performances I have ever seen. Fouled out, zero points, missed all 4 FT attempts, missed makeable shots on both of the plays when he was fouled, had at least one costly turnover that was unforced, took two terrible threes. It was painful to watch.

Groundhog day again. Davis and Taylor come up empty again. Somebody please explain what it is these guys do that makes all the minutes they play worth it?
Allen had ten rebounds but missed at least five shots within two or three feet of the basket. If this team does practice free throws(which I doubt) they should stop. High school girls teams can shoot free throws this well.
As usual there is no rhyme or reason to what they are trying to do on offense. Almost every time someone gets open for a easy jumper(which is rare) they either hesitate, dribble or pass up the shot. It seems that every team we play has at least two or three guys who will take an open jumper when it is there. Other than KA and SJ we don't seem to have anyone who can or will. This is one reason this offense is so poorly designed for these players.
I didn't hear the postgame show but would guess that Mooney spent most of the time talking about another "Great comeback" that just fell short.
These guys are just really hard to watch.
Bench Taylor and Davis and start playing some young guys with instructions to shoot early and often. They are really going to need someone who can score next year.

Just tired of seeing this team not want it bad enough. The Pitiful Rebounding tells us all we need to know. I am done posting this year. Good luck to you all and hope you have a wonderful year ahead.

Play 5 on 4 for all I care. Send a damn message to the team that if you can't shoot you don't play. The negative Roi for his minutes is approaching stratospheric heights now. Embarrassing that he is still starting.

Where are your seats, I'll take them if they are better than mine.

He may be our best shooter phi. At least on form. He missed an offensive position though then when he did react he brought another defender right into shawndre. Ball off foot ugh
