The University of Richmond basketball team next season will play at Texas Tech, at Wake Forest and at Florida, and in a Las Vegas tournament that includes West Virginia, California and San Diego State.

so we are reduced to getting on our knees and giving thanks to them for doing what they are supposed to be doing, what they should want to do for a local entity? the fact that we are at this level, says it all.

Northern Iowa will be back down to earth next year, so that is a game we should win at home as I would still expect them to come in the top 100 RPI, if not top 75. This is a good game for us and one we should try to continue if possible with Northern Iowa.

Texas Tech was terrible last year - last place in Big 12, and RPI around 180, but with that being a road game and with this being Tubby Smith's 3rd year on the job there, maybe he can turn them around and get them in the middle of the Big 12 pack.

Wake Forest - we can only hope they get better, but feel like we been hoping that for the past few years. But its always good to have an ACC team on the schedule every season.

The Las Vegas tourney and the Florida game is what we missed last season. Out of those three games - depending on how we do with the other OOC games - I would say we need to win 1 game at a minimum and 2 would be great.

OOC schedule looks very promising right now - looks like the cards are in place, now we just have to wait a few months for the season to start and win some of these BIG games.

Well it's a start. Now if McElroy and Burton would give us the same recognition, we'd be on a roll. Of course, anyone who thinks that will happen soon would probably buy some oceanfront property from George Strait.
