The NCAA needs to adjust their protocols ASAP. Their current policies are outdated given widescale vaccination and the unprecedented spread of this new variant.
Agreed. One positive case shouldn’t lead to a cancellation of every game. The other leagues quarantine the player and perform regular testing.

Saw an interview with Adam Silver, I think taking the right tact, basically saying what is going on pause going to do at this point, covid not going away so pause just delays things. I know NFL has different criteria to get back on the field for a fully vaxed player vs un vaxed. Think that makes a lot of sense. I understand some people don't want to get vaxxed, not going to argue that, but by same token don't go crying because you lost ability to play in two games because of this status. Just deal with it, or re-evaluate your stance if 2 game are more important to you.

Difference with NBA vs college is that they can pull up G League or sign guys to allow to play. We do have about 20 guys on roster though :)

Davidson rolled, 106–64. They started their walk-ons and just about everybody played only ~15 minutes. Rothstein is impressed.

UNI goes down by 2 to Liberty. Had been ten down with little over two minutes to go. Missed three pointer at buzzer.

Hofstra just took down #48 NET Monmouth on the road, and they’re still without Cooks.

ODU was down 76–66 to Charleston, went on a run to go up 80–78, but ended up falling, 82–80.

7 out of 9 games involving A-10 teams on the schedule for today were postponed or canceled, and Wofford was the opponent in one of those games.

UNI falls to Wyoming, 71–69. Out of bounds call sure looked like it should go UNI's way but didn't, Wyoming missed four free throws in the waning seconds, and UNI had a layup to tie at the end but came up short.

The Cowboys are a solid #32 in the NET, but their 9–2 record is built on one of the weakest schedules in the country and a blowout loss to Arizona. Green only had 5 points and fouled out with under 30 seconds to go.

We sure picked the wrong time to set up a series with UNI, didn't we?

We just have to take care of end, win baby and let the chips fall where they may!! One game at a time 🏀🏀🕷🕷

And he's shooting them at a 52% clip, third best in the country. Davidson as a team is shooting 42% from three, also third nationally.

Both of those games are tomorrow, not today.

No opponent games for us today...of course, there are only two games total: Syracuse–Brown and Texas A&M–Dallas Christian.

Maryland about to finish off Lehigh...up 21 with under 4 to play. They were only up three on the #345 team in the country at halftime.

Drake rolled Mount Marty by 29, but obviously that's a meaningless game.

Well, after Mason traveled to Wisconsin last week only to have their last-minute replacement game called off, now they're getting a crack at Kansas. TCU had to cancel, opening up the date for Kansas.

Not off to a good start today...Utah State falls at #265 Air Force, 49–47.

Mississippi State is hosting Arkansas, just underway.
VMI at Wofford, 7pm
Hofstra at W&M, 7pm
W Michigan at Toledo, 7pm
NC State at Miami, 9pm

Brutal…Wofford falls at home to #199 VMI and Hofstra loses by one at #351 W&M.

At least Mississippi State got a nice win over Arkansas, and Toledo rolled by 27.

W&M resume:

Wins against Mary Baldwin (who I thought was still all-girls) and Hofstra. Any given night.

Interestingly, Mary Baldwin says their game was an exhibition. W&M does not, presumably because they thought it might be the only win they could get this year.
A lot of D3 schools do this for some reason. Know Ferrum did. Although Davidson and CCU games counted as exhibitions in both this season.
