Most their fans are going to be following the nuggets this season.
The atmosphere has clearly taken a hit since COVID. Their arena doesn't look anymore fuller than ours have the 3 games they had there.
Davidson getting spanked by San Fran, who this board informed me is not a good team. I spoke too soon about the A10 I fear. Some pretty putrid results so far. But hey, it's early, no need to start the season with urgency. A10 following Mooney's lead.
Nc Central lost by 39 to Memphis. what a shocker.
VCU is garbage and should be 0-2. As usual, though, I fear we're aren't going to be able to sufficiently take advantage.
I have to say, too, imagine what it must be like to be a fan of UMass athletics. You are a major state university and can enroll anyone with a pulse. Your football program moved up to FBS and has been a complete embarrassment from day one. Your basketball program has been a joke for 15 years. You tried to hire a better coach and he left you standing at the altar to go back where he came from. You hired another guy, he signed 7 guys and a coach or two from the same prep school in order to get the best one of those players, then after a couple years, he transferred, the coach you brought with him helped him transfer, a bunch of the other guys transferred, and now you suck. Again.
I guess what I'm saying is, we could have it worse.

UCSD destroyed GW. The Tritons are just starting the second year of transitioning to D-I.

So pretty much the only way the A10 isn't a 1 bid league is if somehow the Bonnies don't win the A10 tournament.
UMASS and UCONN need to come back home to FCS. There is not enough HS talent in the northeast to support those programs at an FBS level. With more FCS schools in the south moving up, will be even harder to recruit nationally. Temple may be heading back in that direction as well although they have always been FBS.
Unpopular opinion but if that happened the A10 should bring back football.

We provided Memphis with the ever-elusive scouting film that would have been the vital key in our matchup 😂
Anna, you should trademark this phase and then see if the A10 might want to utilize it for selling tournament ticket booklets. $$$
Seeing the A10 struggle makes the idea of knowing we will somehow collapse again hurt even more.

Bashir Mason is a good coach. Wagner does not have a lot of resources. Someone who should be on our list. Maybe not at top of our list but certainly on it imo.
We should hire him for his 1/12/2005 half court shot as a Drexel player to beat VCU...

From here on, no game will be easy. This is one of the toughest out of conference schedules the Spiders have ever played. I expect more losses. This team's character will be tested.
