The frustrating part is a lot of other stuff broke right this weekend:

• Vandy beat Mississippi, basically knocking them out of contention and helping us simultaneously
• Morehead beat Belmont, ditto
• Minnesota lost at Nebraska
• Maryland just beat Michigan State
• Drake lost
• Indiana got smoked again
• Stanford lost to Oregon State
• Boise lost twice, creating some differentiation in the MWC

If we had won at SLU, we'd be in a pretty good spot. Alas...

Nice write up on the bubble games and they did fall in our favor except the one we played.

Friday loss at SLU pretty much takes us out of at large consideration. A10 tournament or bust. I do think we have the talent to beat any team in the A10 on any given night. Of course the flip side is true as well.

The plan... best SJU and then win quarters/semis/championship rounds.

All of the Q1 wins were in 2020, all of the Q4 losses were in 2021. This whole season was a long slide down.

I must smile and suggest that it is beyond boring when one's only contribution consists of the remorseless attacks on our school, coaches and players. I can say the future is bright and greatness awaits, as long as those who hate Mooney continue to call for his head. I can also suggest that those who call for the Coach to be drawn and quartered need counseling. Get a referral. Breathe deeply and let go of your anger. Take steps to let go of your anger and you will feel better. When managing anger, success comes with little steps. Drink the Kool-Aid. It would help to add copious amounts of alcohol.
