Seabron creates match up problems. Our best defenders for him are Dji and Goose, with Gilyard and Wilson grabbing steals.
If Richmond is ahead at the 5 minute mark, and do not fade down the stretch, we have a very good chance of winning.
insightful analysis there
The last 5 minutes are fairly predictable. Unfortunately. The last 5 minutes are not bright.
Hey! There it is! The patented "this is a game we should win". I'm anxiously awaiting the ensuing email averring that if we are the team we think we are, this is a game we should easily win by double digits. No excuses tomorrow night. NC State has played three decent /good teams and lost to all of them. They're ranked 30+ spots behind us in the NET. This is a game we should and must win. It becomes an anchor on our resume like Maryland if we blow it.
I assume most teams do that. he's only taken 16 in 10 games (vs 123 twos).Dare him to shoot from outside - I mean 6.3% from 3????
Now you made me google averring
Just don't let someone else beat you. Play him straight up with your best defender(s) and stop everybody else.I assume most teams do that. he's only taken 16 in 10 games (vs 123 twos).
we don't have a packline defense and you can't just put one in, but that seems the idea here. problem is they have some good shooters we can't leave open to help on Seabron.
Disliked.Kneepad, I am feeling really really good about this one. I hope the Spiders are getting a few points, if so , will hammer the line with all my $, my kids are getting kind of old for presents if it goes south.
Watching part of a couple state games on TV, I feared their athleticism - it seemed overwhelming a little bit. But this thread has brought me to the other side. Everyone hedge the drive on Seabronny and we will be OK. Dare him to shoot from outside - I mean 6.3% from 3????
As time goes on my confidence level is growing to the point of cocky.
Don't worry it will be used in a sentence with vomitories in the next From the AD's Desk update.
Easy theiy're, let's not make this a pubic matter what people do behind closed doorsConsidering some on this board have major, MAJOR issues with the homophones like their, there, they're,
It would be entirely too costly to you. I would be afraid you would hit dislike so often, you would break something.I'm with you Kneepad, I have been asking for dislike button on these apps for years!!
I wished we did have a dislike button!I'm with you Kneepad, I have been asking for dislike button on these apps for years!!
We’ve graduated from comeback kids to comeback kings.
OK, how about this: This is a game we should lose and most likely will lose because we aren't a very good team, we suck on defense and our coach is predictable and impotent when it comes to adapting. Even though NC State is much lower than us in the NET, we all realize that we play soft basketball and will wilt under even the dimmest of lights when push comes to shove, and after tomorrow we will have no hope of making the NCAAs unless we win the a10 tournament, which we won't, or 60 other teams get covid on March 14.Hey! Row-D, that is one of those homophones……Leaving RVA at 8am for the CLT drive with Spider friends from Charlottesville and Fredericksburg meeting up with folks flying in from Chicago, New York, Houstion, Atlanta. SEC 114, Row D will be rowdy. Go Spiders.
How about this: NC State presents a really big challenge, regardless of what their NET ranking says. Saying "we should beat them because their NET is xxx" is an overly simplistic way to look at it. Look at the actual team, not the number on the page. They have the best player we're going to play this year, who presents a tremendous matchup problem for us. That dude was a matchup problem for Purdue, who is a top 5 team in the country. That's going to be an issue. Yes, we can win. But "should" win?OK, how about this: This is a game we should lose and most likely will lose because we aren't a very good team, we suck on defense and our coach is predictable and impotent when it comes to adapting. To put myself on the record, I think we'll lose by 5-8 points tonight.
I am seeing teams dropping like flies for COVID, we are very fortunate to have made it to game day without any of the eight teams in the quadruple header today getting tripped up from it.
the vaccine doesn't prevent this current strain at all ... despite what authorities may say. it does seem to keep you out of the hospital though. or maybe the strain is weaker anyway.Almost all of our guys have natural immunity, all have vaccines. We are good to go. Anyone who doesn't play us forfeits. This includes St. Louis.
