It was. When VCU was at SLU, an SLU fan yelled you are a Russian at an unknown VCU player. The VCU fans in attendance started a fight. The officials had to had stop the game for 5 minutes, while security escorted all of the VCU fans out of the building.
Student section started a fire Mooney chant a few min ago / security frowned on it
R they really afraid of RMC events? Students paying what they do have more power than RMC.
The announcers got the talking point on our attendance. Tho not reported attendance!
Of course this might be the least attended vcu game at Richmond in 20 years.
When have we ever looked like vcu does against us? Embarrassing. They can get whatever they want. Zero chance to get stops.

Yeah ... 2nd half may get even uglier / suspect most of the students leave at halftime
I know what we are as an institution... but are they really threatening to kick students out of the arena for starting a chant?
It was more just a scowl by security ... to GK's point that was all they needed to stop
Just hold up a Palestine flag in the stands & then they can say whatever they want.
VCU has such a comfort level with our defense, I doubt they could shoot the 3 any better in an empty gym.

There was a brief moment where the student section was chanting FIRE MOONEY but now seems like half of them have bailed at halftime
We lost by 40+ the last time we played them. They scored more points in the 1st Half of the rematch ON THE ROAD than they have in any game since 2020. Listen, would it be wrong to just ask maybe to go zone on ONE TRIP down, ONE TIME? Maybe try to press them? What are you afraid of? Losing by 50? I don't understand the lack of any even hint of an adjustment. We're completely outmatched. Can we give our kids the CHANCE to compete and pretend like we're trying to do something different? If we lose by 40 again, fine. I hate it obviously, but we're not very good. Ok fair enough. But we literally are just going through the motions at this point. Its ridiculous. I don't fault the kids at this point. I think they're playing hard.
Odom could take our team to just over .500. Mooney could could take their team to about the same.
