We've done nothing this season to indicate that we can keep it this closeKenPom has this as 75-61.
Very sad to say I agree with you, its suprising that the margin is that close. We've done nothing this season to indicate that we can keep it this close
This will be another blowout guaranteed. Almost 400 tickets remain the day before the game. You'd think that would resonate with the powers that be, but of course it doesn't. Why would any of us spend $100 or more to watch this bloodletting in person with a friend or family member?
Guess our home court is worth 27 points?KenPom has this as 75-61.
No - thankfully while I do like to gamble on pretty much anything (poker, sports, annual 529 baby race) - even when out of the State, I have a solid line on not betting on games our Spiders play so while I would be tempted at +25, I couldn't even pull that trigger.seriously ... how many points would it take to pick the Spiders?
would you do it getting 20?

I'm also really interested to see what the student turnout looks like tomorrow. I can't imagine it'll be great...and it'll be a real look into how much this year is damaging the program's reputation on campus. The first game was no fluke, VCU is better than us in every single facet and and at every single position on the floor. We look like JV squad scrimmaging the varsity. Additionally, they are super aggressive on both ends of the floor, crash the boards relentlessly, and their guards can shoot right over our guards.
I question how much of a home court advantage we will have tomorrow as well. Students have yet to show up for a single game and be honest is anyone remotely excited about us getting our a**es handed to us again. I'm not.
VCU is in the hunt for an at large and the NET rewards blowouts so I don't expect them to step off the gas either.
I think the students will show up, but my guess is it won’t be as energetic of a crowd as years past for these kind of games.I'm also really interested to see what the student turnout looks like tomorrow. I can't imagine it will be great. Am I crazy but at one point wasn't this supposed to be our "red-out" game - seen zero posts about it so wondering if I made it up or the powers that be just decided it wasn't worth promoting at this point.I'm also really interested to see what the student turnout looks like tomorrow. The vermin will show up. If you go, be careful you don't catch something. They are disgusting.Hopefully there will be more Red than Yellow on Tuesday night. Thinking -15 spread? No guess on final score from me.
so like a moral victory? can we hang a banner?seriously ... how many points would it take to pick the Spiders?
would you do it getting 20?
can't imagine anyone feeling confident taking 14.5Line appears to be Spiders + 14.5 ...

odd are +270 they are giving Red shirts to Students ..
Just got an email. Tickets are still available and it is a red out.No idea but likely bagged it. Imagine having a red out and there is more yellow.
Appropriate. There will be many red faces from the embarrassment of another beat down of Mooney’s boys.Just got an email. Tickets are still available and it is a red out.
I was thinking a little more visceral. A bloodletting…Appropriate. There will be many red faces from the embarrassment of another beat down of Mooney’s boys.
If lines look too good, there’s usually a reason. However, I’d never take Richmond and the points.can't imagine anyone feeling confident taking 14.5
my contrarian thinking says all the money goes on VCU, but we cover because the house usually wins.
