Hopefully there will be more Red than Yellow on Tuesday night. Thinking -15 spread? No guess on final score from me.

Reflecting the reality of how bad we are this season (249 NET vs. 31) - you can go on the athletics site and buy tickets for this game. Not sold out the day before our biggest "rivalry" game. Best we can hope for is getting lucky and dropping a bad loss on their resume.

Will say, I was not super impressed with VCU heading into the season. But as Gkiller correctly predicted, they have been very good. They have basically dominated the A10 this season. Being 200 positions behind VCU should be automatic termination of AD and HC in any season that metric is triggered. Heck, 100 positions behind is crazy.

That was my initial thought as well. Highly doubt home court will be a boost. I would think our players would be embarrassed at the first game result and effort. But also could be that time in the season when it is easier to hang your head.

The first game was no fluke, VCU is better than us in every single facet and and at every single position on the floor. We look like JV squad scrimmaging the varsity. Additionally, they are super aggressive on both ends of the floor, crash the boards relentlessly, and their guards can shoot right over our guards.

I question how much of a home court advantage we will have tomorrow as well. Students have yet to show up for a single game and be honest is anyone remotely excited about us getting our a**es handed to us again. I'm not.

VCU is in the hunt for an at large and the NET rewards blowouts so I don't expect them to step off the gas either.

This will be another blowout guaranteed. Almost 400 tickets remain the day before the game. You'd think that would resonate with the powers that be, but of course it doesn't. Why would any of us spend $100 or more to watch this bloodletting in person with a friend or family member?

Seriously. Invite someone out to watch the "big intracity rivalry game" and they will just walk away wanting to go to a damn VCU game.

seriously ... how many points would it take to pick the Spiders?
would you do it getting 20?

No - thankfully while I do like to gamble on pretty much anything (poker, sports, annual 529 baby race) - even when out of the State, I have a solid line on not betting on games our Spiders play so while I would be tempted at +25, I couldn't even pull that trigger.

I'm also really interested to see what the student turnout looks like tomorrow. I can't imagine it'll be great...and it'll be a real look into how much this year is damaging the program's reputation on campus.

I think the students will show up, but my guess is it won’t be as energetic of a crowd as years past for these kind of games.

I can't imagine it will be great. Am I crazy but at one point wasn't this supposed to be our "red-out" game - seen zero posts about it so wondering if I made it up or the powers that be just decided it wasn't worth promoting at this point.

No idea but likely bagged it. Imagine having a red out and there is more yellow.

I haven't been around much this season because of work and personal obligations. But I have been suffering with all of us. My dream is that we will somehow win tomorrow night and burst their bubble. It wouldn't salvage what has been a dreadfullly embarassing season. But it would be gratifying.

can't imagine anyone feeling confident taking 14.5
my contrarian thinking says all the money goes on VCU, but we cover because the house usually wins.
If lines look too good, there’s usually a reason. However, I’d never take Richmond and the points.
