Marcus Jenkins to Minnesota

He was DOBO during the build to the NCAA years.

And I guess you could consider us as having two rebuilds from bad to decent during his time as assistant. Too bad it was the same staff that led to the need for the rebuilds.

Can you consider yourself good at rebuilding programs, if you never finished the job and if you were around during the time that needed to be rebuilt from?

I give him some credit for not continuing to be associated with Mooniocrity and looking to advance.
He got out while the getting is still good. It was a bit ironic that Mooney lost two assistants this year in a program that seems almost impermeable to change. Perhaps, there is a bit of pressure this year and knowledge that if the teams tanks like it did last year, they won't have Covid to blame.

Brace yourselves for "Noone could have foreseen losing two assistant coaches during the offseason."

I think this one can be spun either way. Both guys are joining new staffs with people they knew, and presumably for larger opportunities and more pay. Tough to turn that down. On the flip side, it's easier to find a job when you have one, and as 97 pointed out, no tournament berth this year = changes.
