UCLA was always pretty good when it was simply recruiting its own players. Now that its stripping other West Coast teams for parts, getting players from Stanford, Washington State, Oregon State and others, it's become a great team.
We have a better coach. Watching her for years in the old Pac-12, Close never distinguished herself but she sure likes to stomp around and gesticulate.

I don't know if it bothers anyone else....but I have not seen 1 tweet from the Men's Basketball account congratulating, retweeting, encouraging, etc. Nothing. I don't expect much there but something come on. u have more followers promote your other bball program. Just odd. Especially since the Lady Spiders have been very supportive of mens team. Roussell was even up in Buffalo in 2022, I spoke to him.
My personal interaction with a former member of the staff is that they are very insular and hesitant to give praise at the expense of weaking their own position. Just a terribly fake good guy vibe.

Ucla not too happy w their round 1 play. Our girls sound ready & know teams have to prepare for the Spiders too.

I agree that the UCLA coach was an interesting listen. She is definitely going to have her team ready. Good luck ladies hope the OOC games have helped prepare you but this one is on the P5 home court so it is going to be loud.
