I was looking back at our sweet 16 roster. Certain things definitely stand out:

1. 5 key seniors on the roster. Dan Geriot, Harper, Hovde, Anderson and Kevin Smith

2. Size-plenty of size on this team.

Depth up and down the roster. It is amazing that following these two years, our recruiting acumen went down. I do think we possibly focused too much on very highly rated recruits, and held on too long while our plans b and c went elsewhere. Also think Mooney began to think he had figured things out, instead of being open to change and exploring new systems and schemes.

We had Kevin Anderson and Justin Harper and went to the Sweet 16, but it all went downhill when we missed on the perfect recruit for us – Justin Anderson. And surprise, UVA took off around the same time it got him.
