Neal and Leo played together for three years there. Verbinskis was finishing up there too at the beginning of Leo's career.

Seems like he would be a fit here. A guy who can score and shoot the 3 is something that could help us improve the team. As mentioned above we would seem to already have an in with him. He and Neal probably have some chemistry already which is never a bad thing
I know sman has watched a lot of Lafayette hoops lately. I am in agreement he is someone that can help us.

I think you mistake me for someone who has connections with the players and program. 
I really have no idea, but my impression from afar is that even many of those who leave have respect and appreciation for Mooney and our program. They just ultimately didn't find what they were looking for at UR, usually playing time.

For Burton's sake and dignity, I hope he doesn't come back. Too good of a player to suffer from an incompetent coach and athletic department
I like Mooney as a person but it is time for a change, I hope he will soon realize it too🙏🙏🕷️🕸️
I hope you are right, but my inclination is to think he’ll stay as long as he’s not shown the exit door. It’s doubtful anyone is calling him. UR job is one of best in the country - good pay, nice environment, great facilities, practically no achievement standards.
