Kyle is waiting.

When Kyle Lauletta played before a full house at Robins Stadium on the University of Richmond campus, he was surrounded by 8,700 interested spectators.
When, or if, he steps on the field as the quarterback for the New York Giants, he will be in front of 82,500 demanding fans.
Lauletta is one or probably two unfortunate plays from entering a game as the Giants' quarterback.
The UR graduate, a fourth-round draft choice of the Giants last spring, made the team and begins his wait for regular-season action Sunday when the Giants play the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Lauletta is listed as the co-backup, with Alex Tanney, to Eli Manning, one of the most durable quarterbacks in the NFL. Before he was benched for one game last season, Manning had started 210 consecutive games for the Giants.
"I don't really know my role right now," Lauletta said. "But if I did, it wouldn't really change anything. So I'm just going to approach it the same way and continue to learn and help No. 10 [Manning] out as much as I can.
"I'm ready. I think I'm very ready, and if my number were to ever get called, I think I would be ready to go. I have all the confidence in the world in myself. If, indeed, I do have to play this season, then I'll be ready to go, no doubt about that."
The more likely scenario for now is that Tanney is the backup and Lauletta is the No. 3 quarterback. Tanney has been with eight teams since he signed with Kansas City as an undrafted free agent out of Monmouth College in Illinois in 2012. He has played in one game, for Tennessee in 2015, and completed 10 of 14 passes for 99 yards, with a touchdown and no interceptions.
