due to a concussion she incurred during the umwcah games earlier, she will not play soccer for the remainder of the year. really sad for her, a very, very, special player. the medical staff indicated that she will be able to play basketball though which is great. sorry Becca, get well, stay well

playing bball is not set in stone by any means according to today's rtd article. tough deal, especially if she still had any usa soccer aspirations after her experience on U-20 national team.
