From a Hawkeye, congrats. That was a devastating loss for Iowa (amongst many over the years), but a great win for Richmond. Good luck to you.
What a fund game to watch. We played terrific defense. Gilyard is unbelievable. Cayo was very strong and another solid game by Burton.

Wow! IMO this is bigger than beating Vandy n More St. Vandy so much more beatable than Iowa n More St we expected to win. IOWA, riding high winning conference tourney and a legit 3 or 4 seed not a 5 for sure.
Indeed and believe I’m going to have to root these guys on next year. Don’t know if I would’ve done the same this quickly after the game especially with all their disappointments over the years.

I thought we played great, but we certainly didn't shoot great. plenty of open looks. we could have hung 90 on them.
did that feel like an upset to anyone? this wasn't a lucky day. if we played them again tomorrow I still like our chances.
all this talk from big conference teams about how physical they are. yet we played tougher D than they normally see I guess. and their star disappeared for a long stretch. McCaffery's the one who kept the game close.

It was over … hawks had nothing in the tank. Spiders took full advantage and didn’t let them up. Credit to your coach and team.
