You know I have no Spider apparel at all! I think I got mad at Mooney one day and chucked it all a couple of years ago, and boycotted buying new stuff until Mooney was gone. This year gave me no reason to buy anything new until last weekend. I have a scarf and a knit cap but that’s it.

Just glad to be back in the tournament tbh. I was in 8th grade the last time Richmond was in. Having tech playing as one of the hottest teams in the country is fun too. Just hope I don’t go 0-2 in the first round.
Auburn had the best player in 1984 and we neutralized Charles Barkley in the first half then held on and won. I’m sure Barkley remembers the Spiders! Actually, MJ was the best player that year, but Barkley was a force for Auburn.

We can make a lot of 3s but we don't necessarily have to if Keegan is playing, as he scores a lot in the post. How much will Richmond double him? That will be interesting to see ... I'm guessing they will try it a lot and it opens up the 3s even more.
"Your team is just about due to launch a dud" - We'll see buddy, we'll see. It is about the only way you guys are going to win IMO, but it certainly has happened to higher seeds in the past and it will keep happening in the future. It makes the tournament what it is (and the Spiders are the original giant killer ;-) ).
I was slightly disappointed to see Richmond vs Iowa as I watched the A10 championship for a while before the Iowa game. I like your team. Gilyard is great and I have a soft spot for people my height! .... I like Murphy of Va Tech too. I love the Princeton back door offense. Anyway, here's to a good game and may the best team win. Iowa like most teams today rely on the 3 pretty heavily and we are no different. If we are cold, I see it being a tight game.

I have a one post rule for opposing boards after iowa plays. I’ll congratulate you on a win or thank your fans for a good game and then I’m out. I guess my business with your fans are done then. I just don’t have any real interest in interacting much with opposing fans after the game.
I truly think Iowa has a 7/10 chance in winning the game. ESPN has it over 8/10. Iowa fans recognize there’s a real chance Richmond wins the game. That’s what makes this so fun.
BTW, IF THERE ARE ANY TROLLING IOWA STATE FANS ON HERE, I KNOW MY ONE POST RULE DOESN'T APPLY TO YOU. That’s because you support a loser team.

I think the reality is we only have a real chance if Burton shows up today. He’s played dreadful in a few of our big games this year — let’s hope he learned from these experiences and knows we need him to win.

I just heard that Colorado St hasn’t attempted a free throw all game with 17 mins to go against Michigan. The wolverines have shot 10+ free throw attempts already.
