At St.Joseph's

All things considered, I think it's pretty nice to have experienced guys like Grace, Sal, and Andre off the bench.
agreed now that Andre is back. those are solid players. figure 8 minutes each for Grace and Sal, 12-15 for Andre.

but the bench would have been sick adding Burton, Crabtree and what we were hoping from with Weir.

agreed. I'd love to be able to press more. mostly because our straight up man defense isn't doing well.

we can't press because we're not deep enough now. we looked really deep but stuff happened. most teams have issues to overcome. you adjust. we've adjusted. we adjusted by shortening the roster.
While I get the drop off is probably steep, my point is maybe you can press for two minutes by inserting Wilson or Sal and give a guy or two a quick breather. Maybe the drop off is so severe though that it’s detrimental. It’s hard to tell without giving it much of a chance.

So far I’m not impressed with Wilson‘s defense. His stock will go up when I see him take a charge instead of stepping aside.

We could always start Sal, and have Burton come off the bench to give us more bench scoring if that would make you feel better about bench points. Points are points, so I just don't get the frustration, but we can just disagree.
Points are points. Thats the point. We have 5 guys who score. And with our defense being poor - we need 5 guys to score 75 a night or else we lose. I am not sure how many other "good" teams are relying on 5 guys to get them 75 points a night. Even if you started Sal - I don't think he scores, and you still getting points from the same 5.
And worse part - the bench guys can't score, if the coaches keep forgetting about them (sorry Goose).
This really just highlights 2 things. 1) How big a loss Sherod really is. 2) How much of a step backwards we will take next year.
