Currently 1-12 St.Joseph's next on the road. They played a really tough schedule. (Tennessee, Kansas, and Auburn already played). I just looked at their roster, Ryan Daly.
The same Ryan Daly that played for Delaware. Now I am starting to think about prediction. Ryan Daly averages 17 points a game. Ryan Daly hasn't played since 12/21.

85 points allowed pg by St.Joseph's
Shoot about 20 plus 3's a game

St. Joes is terrible this year. They have 11 frosh and sophs. With hiring new coach Lange, then COVID hits last season, I think this has really hurt them in progressing. I think Lange will have them competitive in 2 years, but this year - we should beat them by 10+.
Only concern - coming off layoff, and playing on road. Not sure how road games are handled now with COVID, but has to be different.
This is a game we should come out from the tip and grab a lead. We can't let St. Joes hang around and get confidence. Get up early, and then come out first 5 minutes of 2nd half and put them away and let the bench get some minutes.

Sounds like the predictions before the LaSalle game........we need to concentrate, take nothing for granted, and score more points than the Hawks.......................

Much like LaSalle, St. Joes is a sad sack of a program this year. But LaSalle, certainly waxed our greatest class ever asses, so can St. Joes do it as well. Yep.

I do expect us to rally and win by 10, which NO ONE in or around the program should take for anything because St. Joes is 1-freaking 12 and is terrible.

Just imagine if we somehow go up to St. Joes and lose though, whew, the literal tires could come off the Moondog express. I'll be watching to see how many tiny sips of water he takes from his little plastic cup in the final four minutes if this game is close. Rain man Mooney is gonna be full lit.

Presumably Daly is still out. He was supposed to be getting his cast off and being reevaluated this week.

St. Joseph's is a pathetic excuse for a basketball program. The school would be better off taking 12 piles of canine excrement, putting uniforms on it and sending it out onto the court.

Spiders 59, Hawks 58. In triple overtime.
so you're saying we have a chance LOL.

Yikes. I can only get +550 for 1-12 St. Joes.
I got more than 6-1 for Hofstra and 8-1 for La Salle.

Vegas is catching on.

I'm beginning to believe we don't know how to coach defense. Or, Mooney's scouting/recruiting doesn't value defense (including rebounding).

What a crappy defensive effort in first half. No help defense, no blocking out, etc. Same old, same old.

Not a lot sustainable from that half, unless you believe Grace and Sal will routinely combine for six threes a game.

Spider men underperforming again...the women won by 38 tonight.

In all seriousness, nice to see the Spiders cruise. Off shooting nights from some of the guys, but Burton was a beast again and Grace gave some good minutes and double figures! Nice game from Blake too...kept it under control.
