So once upon a time, UR was close to getting Marshall Wood, Terry Henderson, and Andrew White from Petersburg. What a class that would have been! Well, Marshall saw the light and is currently a Spider, Terry went from West Virginia to NC State, and Andrew transferred from Kansas to Nebraska (Brrrrrrrrrr!). Well, looks like Andrew took over this pre-season game. Really a nice young man; would have been a great Spider. OSC

Are the Huskers now allowed to use the basketball facilities?? Deep down he wanted to be a Spider, he just was too indecisive.

White would've had a national rep by now had he been a Spider all along. He couldn't have seen Andrew Wiggins coming. I wish him luck out there in corn country.

Good points, 9legs. A perfect fit. As DukeDenver points out, Andrew would have already made a name for himself nationally starring for the Spiders. OSC

Sometimes kids need to forget the bright lights and realize they need to be on the floor to improve their game. Yes practice against the best will help, but nothing beats game PT, the heat of the battle.

I agree with 9Legs and urfan1. If you're the star, you're on TV and in other media reports. If you sit the bench, it doesn't work. Andrew, IMHO, made a mistake by not coming here. He was so indecisive that he couldn't even make his decision by the end of the early signing period that November. Hopefully, he will get the opportunity now.

Just hope he can survive and flourish in a league where he will be paired with teams coached by Beilein, Izzo, Ryan, Crean, Matta, etc. Could be tough.
