AD Search

Maybe we can criticize some of the process - but it is over. I like the hire. It's time to move on. Let's win two more football games (or more) and start getting excited for basketball.

I am truly happy that this hire was announced before the early signing period in football.
 
Am I the only one that thinks he looks like Winston Churchill?
Well...
When asked about this weekend's football game, is response was
"We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in Harrisonburg, we shall fight on the Blacks Run, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our goal, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight in the trenches, we shall fight on the yard marker, we shall fight on the field and in the tailgates, we shall fight in the valley; we shall never surrender"
 
I like this hire a lot. Kudos to the administration on a job well done. On another note, I don't think many recruits make their decision based on an AD. It comes down to the relationship they have with their recruiter and the financial package they'll receive. One of my kids went through the D1 recruiting process this past year and the topic of AD never came up at any school we looked at.
