The host responsibilities are pretty minimal when you consider they only have to "share" them.

"There are no location restrictions associated with hosting an MTE. Therefore, the non-Division I school may host the MTE at their school or at another site (e.g., neutral site, another school’s facility). The non-Division I school that will be hosting the event must ensure the school is handling or sharing the responsibilities associated with hosting the event (e.g., contracts, game guarantees, setting up officials), liability and other operational duties."

Some solid stuff. & that annoying 3 pt Wawa marketing from last season gone on broadcast too right?

Looks like at least 10 games u can get $5 or $10 tickets. Nobody can say we don’t have some of the absolute best value deals around. & I’m for it. More ppl in seats and the young kids/fans become at least casual or stronger fans as adults.

That said at this point I wish we’d be healthier as program/fanbase where we didn’t need to do that as frequently.

Reactionary thought processes here by the staff. The benefit of an established coach would seem to be established contacts for things like scheduling. The program is far too conservative in its approach IMO. MTEs are a great example - as noted we never get in an upper tier 3 game MTE. The best we do is a couple garbage games to get to Barclays and have to win a p4 game to get a second one, otherwise it’s 2 garbage games,p4, and like New Mexico.

Things change. Be ahead of the curve (we are clearly behind it.)

I thought there were some ncaa “rules” to host. Like nearby venue, marketing, sharing costs. Idk could be wrong. But if u don’t know it Florida Tech is getting paid to be host. Maybe SF can enlighten us he loves the rules that r never followed. Where we’re going we don’t need roads…or rules.
