Big, big game! Weather is great so let's get out and support the ladies!!!!
Glad to see a lack of activity here...hopefully everyone local is at the game.
Tough sledding for both teams so far. Just as I thought the Spiders were starting to get a little bit of breathing room, the Hawks get a quick 8–0 run to close it back to 2.

I thought putting Jimenez on #21 late was a nice adjustment. Also like the way Sweeney kept shooting. She could really be a special player for us before it is all said and done.
Just got home, not as big a crowd as I would have liked, but loud at times. Poor shooting night, but manged to win. Onr ref looked as though he had money on Hawks, I think he called one for Richmond, all else Hawks.
Don't know if they got on TV, group of 4 or 5 students dressed up, think I reconized a few as FB players. But one had a sign "All I want for my birthday is dinner with Alley Sweeney".

Great win! So nice to see a Spider's basketball team box out for defensive rebounds, crash the boards for offensive rebounds, and find ways to score in different ways, especially last night when our 3 point shooting wasn't at our expectation. Such a joy watching the team play these past couple of years.
17 and we got a strong nucleus coming back next year. Whatever formula for success Rousell is using, it is
working well.
