VCU gets another Michigan castoff, this time 6-8 stiff Brandon Johns, who scored 6 ppg.
VCU is not exactly hitting the portal lottery here. I thought VCU was such a basketball "destination" that big time transfers would be beating down there doors, saying I want to play in the mecca of college basketball, "The Siegel Center".VCU gets another Michigan castoff, this time 6-8 stiff Brandon Johns, who scored 6 ppg.
Well, they have modeled it off of Costco. So the big box store vibes are all there already. Now it's only more life-altering than a 10-minute trip to Target.
😀 yeah he wasn’t someone that was ever mentioned to me but I’m not an exp scooper by far 😀🕷🏀As funny as this is about a week ago when Spiderdad was dropping hints about who we were getting I thought it was this guy based off his 3 point comment. Didnt bother to check one of the years though and was clearly way off. This is why I defer to more experienced scoopers and didnt want to say anything since he was in the portal. Although its never to late....
I thought Adaway gave up his eligibility without meaning to?Is Adaway a legit draft candidate?
Probably not. I saw where he mentioned if he doesn't get drafted, he looks forward to impressing in the G league and giving it his best shot. He has already graduated and seems like a really good guy. He praised us and Davidson for the years we had. He has the right attitude, has confidence in himself, and definitely has some talent. I wouldn't count him out, and I wish him the best.Is Adaway a legit draft candidate?
Has there been talk of Carr coming to UR? I watched him play in HS.

So this Bona poster quote could still be accurate?
well, geographically I was close...Vander Plas is headed to UVA.
This disgusts me and does not bode well for college basketball imo. There has got to be a better way to get ALL college kids money rather than a chosen few. Yecch!
Gotta launder that money somehow. He gets the Marty and Wendy Byrde scholarship.
why all? seems very socialistic. the argument for kids getting anything at all beyond a scholarship is that they bring in money to the schools. some have a bigger hand in that. a free market says they should get more. This disgusts me and does not bode well for college basketball imo.
