Today's Polls # 6 and #7

I think 6/7 is pretty fair, although i could understand an argument that had both JMU and Western Illinois ahead of us.

If we don't learn to maintain the intensity we shouldn't be top 20. Get up by 21 you can see the intensity drop and we very easily could have lost the game.

Do you think is a letdown by the players, or the play calling of the coaching staff? One of my biggest complaints in recent years is that we always seem to start running out the clock way too early when it appears that we have the win well in hand. I remember one game against VMI couple years back when were were up like 31-0, and wound up winning 31-25 or something close to that. And going into prevent defense never seems to prevent anything.

Fair enough. Based on our resume, having a win over a FBS school and another Top 25 opponent, who are the 13-14 teams that should be ahead of us?

I am getting more confident that this year will equal or better last year each time I visit this board. All the same feelings exist as I saw early last year: Lauletta stinks at QB, special teams are terrible, kicker is inadequate,, coaching is questionable, and no one will ever beat JMU. These are all good omens for a great year.

Great point but one subject of outrage is missing. Bob Trott.

How can we fix this?

1. People should watch Steve Cluley
2. Wait til JMU plays a meaningful home game, they're really good at losing those
