Feel free to respond directly to the statements made by Gen. Hodges and the supporting analysts. Biden has the authority in place, via lend lease, to supply Ukraine with all of the equipment it needs. Biden is afraid to escalate against Russia. Meanwhile, Biden has sent the signal to Iran, Yemen, Hamas, Hezbollah, Venezuela and China that there are no consequences to their malign behavior. They can escalate at will.
Where are the sanctions on Iran?
The worldwide conflagration rests on Joe Biden. Defeat in Ukraine is Biden’s fault.

How is it not? He is the President. He is the Commander-in-Chief. Any other assertion is perfidy.

Ad hominem arguments are prima facie invalid. Our enemies are on the march world wide. Russia has launched a massive counterattack across 700 miles in Ukraine. Iran is expanding its terrorist network and attacking American troops. The Houthis in Yemen are attacking shipping and interdicting free trade. Hamas is killing Israelis. North Korea is launching missiles.

Joe Biden is in St. Croix.

Direct quotes are always best. This source notes that the US has 2,000 ATACMS, 1,000 are set to be scrapped. We gave Ukrai e 20, which they have used. The ATACMS are to be replaced over the next couple of years by a newer system. While he is in St. Croix, why doesn’t Joe Biden authorize the transfer of soon to be scraped ATACMS?

Where are the ATACMS, Joe? The answer- in the scrap heap.

Reflects the US's half hearted commitment to conflicts in the late 20th and early 21st Centuries regardless of the Party in power. Irritating. If you cannot clearly define victory and are not committed to achieving it, then stay out.
 
i believe our position is to support Ukraine to acheive their goal. Thus as their goal changes it appears our position has changed but not really.

Please explain the causal connection. How is it Trump's fault that new 400,000 illegals came into in the US in December of 2023? This had nothing to do with Biden's border policies, such as the elimination of the Remain in Mexico policy?
 
Biden is refusing to provide any more weapons to Ukraine. He is not even providing stocks that are slated to be scrapped.

 
I wanted to follow-up about Ben Hodge's comments. In his own words, he states that the US should send weapons and systems that are slated for destruction. This is a common sense approach that President Biden is NOT doing and does not intend to do. His policy towards Ukraine is failing. President Biden seems to be equally afraid of Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin.
 
On another point, why doesn't President Biden talk about Human Rights in Russia. President Reagan constantly praised prisioners of conscience behind the Iron Curtain. These included intellectual giants like Andrei Sakharov and Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn. Why doesn't Biden praise Russia's current prisoners of conscience, like Alexander Navalny?

So you are saying an impenetrable wall from San Diego to Fort Lauderdale would not have reduced the number of people entering from our southern border?

The Biden Administration makes up excuses to cover Biden's decisions about weapons to Ukraine. For example, they claim they will not send ATACMS, because the shelf life has ended.
General Hodges once again states that this is a political decision.

That is a pretty weak causal connection. Biden has opened the borders. We are on track to have allowed 10 million illegals, under Biden's watch, into the US by the end of 2024.

If Trump had built the wall, Biden would have had to tear it down in order to let people in. Trump failed to deliver on his primary campaign promise and let our country down.

Sadly, I believe this captures our country's position. Meanwhile, Russia digs in and this becomes a waiting game. Russia believes it can outlast the US. Biden is so concerned about the dissolution of the Russian Federation and offending Russia, he appeases Russian aggression.

This is a press release issued by the AP on October 13, now three months old. I refer you to post #846 above....Biden sent 20 of the really old ATACMS the M39 version. The M39 he sent have 950 bomblets/ warheads. They are effective against softer targets, such as people, open air supplies and maybe airplanes and helocopters sitting on the tarmac. These are also shorter range missiles, reaching 102 miles. Ukraine needs longer range ATACMS, with single warheads, that can take out hardened assets, such as underground/ protected weapons depots, the Kerch Strait Bridge, bridges and roads between Crimea and Russia, tanks, and harbor facilities in Crimea. These have a range of about 200 miles.

Right now, Russia holds everything 51 miles away from the front lines, beyond the range of HIMARS.

By the way, Ukraine used those 20 ATACMS in about 3 days. They killed a lot of Russians, and shot up copters and planes, but they did little to interdict the flow of weapons and supplies into Ukraine.

We need to send multiple types of ATACMS, not just the M39. They need a multi-layered approach.

This is emblematic of the drip-drip-drip/ piecemeal supply system that Biden has approved.

The Iranian backed Houthis' attack on shipping is causing many international shippers to circumvent the Red Sea for longer and more expensive routes. The extra shipping cost will be passed on to consumers. So if you think that inflation has been bad in the past, it is likely to flare up again and could be worse. My prediction is that the Fed will not be able to cut interest rates in 2024 as they have indicated. The recent downturn in the markets reflect this also.

So if you think that Biden's weak white glove treatment of Iranian aggression and what is happening on the other side of the world has no impact on your life, you'd better think again.
 
Not sure where to post this and probably not worth a new thread. Nevertheless, appears the appointed prosecutor (persecutor?) in Georgia, Ms. Willis, has her Fani in a tight crack. Well, at least, apparently something was there. o_O

So many of these allegations against Trump are unraveling.... like Fani in tight leggings, giving her deposition.

A special counsel found that Joe Biden committed numerous crimes, but refused to prosecute Joe Biden because he lacks the capacity to stand trial, even though he is THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

We have also considered ... Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory. Based on our direct interactions with and observations of him, he is someone for whom many jurors will want to identify reasonable doubt. ....
