Sadly, I believe this captures our country's position. Meanwhile, Russia digs in and this becomes a waiting game. Russia believes it can outlast the US. Biden is so concerned about the dissolution of the Russian Federation and offending Russia, he appeases Russian aggression.

This is a press release issued by the AP on October 13, now three months old. I refer you to post #846 above....Biden sent 20 of the really old ATACMS the M39 version. The M39 he sent have 950 bomblets/ warheads. They are effective against softer targets, such as people, open air supplies and maybe airplanes and helocopters sitting on the tarmac. These are also shorter range missiles, reaching 102 miles. Ukraine needs longer range ATACMS, with single warheads, that can take out hardened assets, such as underground/ protected weapons depots, the Kerch Strait Bridge, bridges and roads between Crimea and Russia, tanks, and harbor facilities in Crimea. These have a range of about 200 miles.

Right now, Russia holds everything 51 miles away from the front lines, beyond the range of HIMARS.

By the way, Ukraine used those 20 ATACMS in about 3 days. They killed a lot of Russians, and shot up copters and planes, but they did little to interdict the flow of weapons and supplies into Ukraine.

We need to send multiple types of ATACMS, not just the M39. They need a multi-layered approach.

This is emblematic of the drip-drip-drip/ piecemeal supply system that Biden has approved.
