Gilyard got 20 and 17 points in the tournament, he is a legitimate offense threat. But we had several games in which he didn't hardly take a shot in the first half, and didn't come to life until we got way behind. I would love to see him be more assertive early on, ala Cedric Lindsay.

he was a freshmen. and as a PG, he was trying to pick his spots between running the team and getting everyone involved ... and scoring. he became more assertive as the year went on. heck of a player and going to get even better. huge fan.
