Do they have to wait until the 16th to reply or can they go ahead and send in their LOI ?

When your student-athlete receives their NLI document, the appropriate Signing Period should be checked. If the Signing Period has begun for their sport, they must sign within seven days of the issue date (noted on the document). If they receive the NLI document before the Signing Period window opens, they must wait until 7 a.m. of the first date of the period. The student-athlete's parent or legal guardian must also sign the document; college coaches cannot be present during the signing.

Thank you. Boy, the NCAA is great with the minutiae. LOL

unfortunately if they are not there will be more attempts to "game" the system

I know you’re right.
I’m still angry at them for calling us out for too many cellphone calls. Then, changing the rule.
(that’s been a while ago) lol

Per Russ 11/19:

”Our signing class for freshman will be at 10-11. Looks like we will sign 7-8 in the early signing period and the other two in February.”

We signed 8 NLIs in Dec.

There has been online activity regarding the UR staff looking at potential transfers from the transfer portal.
