SeaBiscuit was a horse that was left for dead. It broke a leg and was about to be put down. Its jockey was also injured and washed up. The jockey was blind in one eye. Both the jockey and the horse were resurrected by a manager/ owner who had patience to see the good in each. SeaBiscuit and its jockey came back and won (the A-10 tournament). How many times were KA0 and company left for dead? The parallels to this Spiders' team are striking.

Stonewall, the Biscuit never won the Kentucky Derby, but was a great race horse from 1937 to 1940. He beat the great Triple Crown winner War Admiral in a world famous match race. Both horses were descendants of Man O' War.
