Win. But we don’t make it easy. Good teams need to put together 2 good halves. Is that asking too much?
Praise the kids for finally saying “F U Jobu (Mooney)” and taking things into their own hands and winning the game. A rebounding coup!! Awesome!!
URI scored 1 point in the last 5:50. Pretty crazy. I am glad this team doesn't give up when down big, just wish they didn't dig themselves into a hole so often.

Yay we came back from 15 down to beat a team that probably has less talent than the John Marshall varsity team, extend Mooney!
I had the chance to sit beside a coach on Sunday. He talked about they are really working on their toughness in rebounding. I think we saw that tonight.
Grace and Golden on the court at the same time in crunch time.
They had no offensive rebounds in the 2nd half.
Rhody obviously is nothing special, as we knew coming in, but this is a game we normally would lose after the way the first half went. Kudos on the comeback! Can't remember us turning a game completely around and closing it out like that in the last three minutes in some time.

I must say I’m disappointed that this post didn’t get me any likes.
Sometimes I think you would even root for VCU against the Spiders.

That is a good point, normally we are the ones folding under the pressure of the last 5 minutes of a game. Nice to see it from the other side for once.
Gilyards layup should be on Top 10 plays for it was the dagger in my book. How did we out rebound RIU

That would be one impressive high school team, to win 12 games against D1 competition.

I loved Rhode Island's new uniforms, they say "Ocean State". They must be too embarrassed to mention their school or state on their jerseys.
Great come back for the team. Best defensive half of the year and truly a team effort. Very strong road win. Mooney deserves credit for making adjustments at half.

It is bad. Always root for a Spider victory. From someone who is not a Mooney fan.
