All - the last three months have been a lot of fun. Taking the board over and trying to carry on Fan1's legacy while making improvements, bringing you insight and news related to Spider Sports and getting more involved here has been an incredible experience.

I am asking that if you've enjoyed the changes, please consider subscribing to the site. It's $9.95 a month. Cut back on your Starbucks intake, buy a 6 of Bud Heavy rather than Stone, order the 6oz filet rather than the 24oz Porterhouse next time out.

Trying to fill a void in UR sports coverage takes time (and money). If you find value in what you're getting, please consider chipping in to support the effort. I appreciate the consideration.

Ditto -- the time to run this site properly is demanding, 05 has done a great job. I encourage you to support his efforts, and to encourage your friends, and their friends to do the same.

I have subscribed to these boards for several years...I thought it was an annual fee that was autobilled to my credit card unless I chose to stop it...

is the process you outline something new I will have to do to renew, or will I be auto renewed unless I stop it as in past years?

thanks for clarifying...

It's only about $100 if you pay for a full year. Hell, that's one Friday or Saturday night out for the movies and dinner.
I see the trend as placing much more important information and insider discussion on the premium board. It is free of trolls and intervention from those from other schools. It is more open to critical discussion about our coaches and players. Many successful basketball and football programs limit significant discussions to their premium board.

I foresee the premium board as becoming the main board for discussion of most important things football and basketball, especially as to recruiting and inside information about our coaches and players.

Don't believe $120/yr for a subscription is going to break anyone here and I am naturally inclined to support all things Spider. Serious question - what does the premium board give anyone that they don't get here? If it is just endless recruiting speculation, you can get that on the basketball board. Don't mind spending the money, but do you get more than that?

KE, the conversations on there involve more individuals with relationships within the program. The articles that I've been posting will start to go to subscribers only. Future news from me will always start on premium board moving forward. If you're debating, I'd suggest doing a month subscription for $10 and deciding if you feel it's worth it. Also, it's $100 a year ($20 off annual subscription price).

Thanks for the info 05. Count me in.
