'Complete confidence' is what any AD would say about their coach, no matter the coach's situation (barring a scandal). The reason it feels like an AD expressing 'complete confidence' in a coach means the coach will be fired is because AD's are only asked that question when the coach is performing poorly and likely to be fired.

I heard this in the post game and I was flabbergasted. 'It might be time to change the defense'.... DUH.... Most of us knew that months ago. So it means that contrary to the high academic standards UR claims, it's basketball players are so stupid they can't pick up a new defense in a week? OR...... Mooney has no clue on how to teach one??? My guess is the latter.

Good for Woody. JOC has written a couple critical articles over the past week as well, local sports radio has been hit with a number of critical calls on Mooney and personally know a number of people both fans of UR and non fans who are really questioning the direction of the program. It is not just this board.

Gill can put his head in the sand if he chooses but if next season is a disappointment like this one, the calls will only become louder and more difficult to tune out

Personell issues are properly dealt with in private. One is certain that Mr. Gill has taken notes all along regarding the performance of teams in every sport and has discussed the success or lack there of with each coach. Mr. Gill is a class act and will deal with perceived issues expeditiously and in a well thought out manner. OSC
