I am a sophomore at the University of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia. As some of you may know, our Men's Track and Field and Soccer programs were recently cut so that Men's Lacrosse could be added. We have been fighting it as well as we can with the faculty and student body supporting us. The faculty have organized an event ( https://www.facebook.com/events/468830836470670/ ) for a public dialogue. Our president, athletic director, students, community members, fans and faculty are invited to attend. As part of the global track community, I extend an invitation to you. If you could, at a minimum, relay the message to your friends and associates.
