Also interesting to note that we won’t be playing Boston College at home this year (postponed to 2019-2020) because of the potential of playing them in the tournament. This move makes sense to me

Agreed. Strength of schedule in 19-20 is more important than this years if we’re being realistic

Longwood blog had it too. FWIW seems their source is a glitch in our ticketing software. But safe to say they will be our home opener 11/9.

First official date the season can start is Tuesday November 6th. Will be interesting to see if we play a game then.

I think the delay makes sense, but it is odd didn't we get the bball games because they canceled our football game. Any odds on 2019/20 game here not happening?

The clue is a meme about two things being very similar or indistinguishable, not about spiders or spider man. ("I'm the real spider man! No, I'm the real spider man!") In this case, they meant FGCU and UMBC were similar due to their recent 'cinderella' runs.

97, I don't recall it ever being reported as a home & home. I think more likely it was a buy game, or possibly if there was a return game it got bumped to 19-20. Either way not expecting vermont on schedule this year. That said it's certainly not a fact, I don't know for sure & my memory may be the bad one. We'll see, lot of schedules coming out these days. Ours always seems to be pretty late. Wonder if we'll finally figure out getting the max 13 ooc games.

For selfish reasons I’m disappointed with the schedule. The one time I travel to Richmond during the season is during my kids’ winter break. Every year we used to play a game a few days after Christmas, and there was always a good crowd. We stopped doing that a few years ago for some reason, and now we play away. Is it because everybody else wants it on their court at that time, and we don’t have any muscle to flex?

Just looking back as far as ten years ago, it seems that from 2008-2014 we played games on December 28, except for twice when we played on the 29th. Since then we have played games away. And to reiterate, I get that this is completely selfish on my part, because I don’t want to spend an entire vacation week at my in-laws’ house (who does?) in order to see a game.
