We are teetering on the edge of the kenpom top 100. I think a win against Dayton should send us into the top 100, which I am pretty sure is our programs ultimate goal. Lets do this!
"ultimate goal"? for this year or annually? We are teetering on the edge of the kenpom top 100. I think a win against Dayton should send us into the top 100, which I am pretty sure is our programs ultimate goal. Lets do this!
Then my question is 'ultimate' How about making and winning at least two games in the NCAA tourney? I hope it was humor, sadly I think there are some fans who would be happy with that.Every year.
That's something BSHS hasn't been able to do recently. OSCThen my question is 'ultimate' How about making and winning at least two games in the NCAA tourney? I hope it was humor, sadly I think there are some fans who would be happy with that.
I was going to make that a separate thread, stating that he was available...OT: St Louis just fired Jim Crews after the game today.

Just the potential of 4 games in 4 days we going to wish we had played JP or PF more during the season, especially if MW is out. Any team with such a short bench it would be almost impossible to run that gauntlet.
Is this a joke?
Like what tournament? Anything but ncaa or nit is a joke.A win against Dayton put the Spiders squarely in post season tournament discussion. Even with a loss, UR should definitely play in one of the post season tournaments.
As best I can quickly tell Austin Peay is the only one who played 4 games in 4 days. The rest got byes so opponents had all played the same number or more games. We'll be playing a rested Dayton and if we continue the likely opponents will also have gotten byes. It's going to be very difficult, would be great if they can.I really don't buy it. 7 man rotations are fairly normal in college basketball. Gonzaga, Austin Peay, UNC-Asheville, Iona, Fairleigh Dickinson and UNI are all teams that have won their tournaments with ~7 players so far this year (some even have 6-man rotations). Most tournaments haven't finished yet, I am sure there will be a ton more.

UNC ashville 4 seed played 3 games like all of their opponents, got bye
Stetson 7th seed played 3 games like all of their opponents played March 1, 3, 6
Iona 2 seed played 3 games like all of their opponents got bye
UNI 4 seed played 3 games like all of their opponents got bye
Farleigh Dick. 2 seed played 3 games like all of their oppenents got a bye
Austin Peay did play 4, (season had 8 guys with over 400 minutes and 2 more with 200) did play 7 in tournament and did play 4 days in a row
Holy Cross did play 4 ( season 8 guys with over 400 minutes a and 2 more with 200) Played Mar 1, 3, 6 and 9 not four days in a row. 8 guys with 10 minutes or more in tournament games
Gonzaga played 3 games like all of their opponents got a bye
3 out of 5 of the post season tournaments are not worth even discussing.A win against Dayton put the Spiders squarely in post season tournament discussion. Even with a loss, UR should definitely play in one of the post season tournaments.

3/5/1990 JMU was CAA 1 seed in final.Yeah, I can't recall ever beating a 1-seed at this point. I think when we won the CAA in '98 UNCW was the 1, but that was in the finals. And they may have been the 2.
Those 75 have left.John O'Connor: "Dayton fans at Barclays Center, maybe 500. Richmond fans, maybe 75. It's a blowout in the stands."
