You're couple years behind. Endowment nearly $3.5 billion

Seems it’s not enough to keep up with the inflation of maintenance costs.

Endowment actually dropped from $3.35 billion to $3.15 billion in the last fiscal year. Gotta make up that $200 million somehow.

Not knocking Northern Iowa, they have a very sound program. I think they will end a tick below UR on the season.

A couple of things to keep in mind:
1) Northern Iowa does not have their best player (Phyfe), their center
2) Northern Iowa is VERY young. They lost almost all of last year's firepower to graduation
3) VERY young (inexperienced) teams most often lose their road opener

So, a "nice win" for the Spiders, but, a Northern Iowa loss was an easy prediction.
